Best Friends

We left our dog Kye in Scotland (temporarily) until we get into a house here in Chicago. I have been wondering when Kalem was going to start missing him or asking where he is and it finally came. Yesterday Kalem said to me- 'Hey where's my big doggy Kye, you know the real Dog, my big black one.' I told him he was still in Scotland but would be with us shortly- to which he responded OK that will make me REALLY HAPPY!!! So this if for Kalem and Kye- the best of friends!!

4 more weeks

I am at the end of my pregnancy, I am beginning to move a bit more slowly and my back and hips are starting to hurt - BUT. . . I have decided that instead of complaining (which i have been doing a TON of lately) I will just enjoy the fact that this little baby will only be inside my belly for 4 more weeks. I will enjoy Kalem as an only child for 4 more weeks. I will enjoy changing 1 childs diapers for 4 more weeks and I will just enjoy my life as it is now - Just the 3 of us. . . for 4 more weeks. I have been told by many wise mothers once number two comes along, its a whole nother ball game!!

Having a Go. . .

Well I can't believe it has taken me this long to join the world of bloggers. I am always reading my friends and families blogs and have decided it really is a fun way to keep up on each others lives. So here I am giving it a go and hopefully will enjoy having my own as much as I enjoy reading everybody elses.
