My mom left us on Wed. so it is back to reality for me. I have to assume all of the household responsibilities again. We had Trevor's mom here for a week and mine here for 3- we have been spoiled and were so so lucky to have the help. Thanks to both of them for sacrificing their time and energy to come and be with us at this time.
Trevor has been away on a business trip to Phoenix for the past 8 days and he just got back early Wed morning. He was missed a great deal by the master Kalem and an even greater deal by me. I was so jealous he was enjoying 80 degree temperatures at an amazing resort, driving around in his convertible rental and we were stuck here with the cold Chicago weather. Does it ever warm up here? Ok, I know it gets warm here, I have heard about the amazingly beautiful summers and I've try not to complain too much this weather but to be honest it is starting to wear on me or maybe its just post-pardum setting in. In any case, I am more than ready for some warm and sunny days.
Well now that Trev is back and the grammas have left I am excited to get back to our little family routine, whatever that may be. We are still looking for a house so most of our spare time together as a family is spent house hunting. My next question is - WILL WE EVER FIND A HOUSE??? I am so ready to get al of our stuff out of storage that has been there for the past 3 years- so ready to get settled into a permanent residence, and ready for a place to call our own. It will happen some day soon. We get kicked out of our temp housing in a month so hopefully we can find something before then- keeping our fingers crossed.

Oh how sad to have both mom's come and go now. I'm sure you'll figure everything out with your two little ones and be an amazing wife as well!! Trev's lucky to have you. I'm so excited to see you guys in a few weeks and see that little Quincy in person. Love you guys!
