We headed to Utah on Thursday for one of our good friends weddings. Mr Brandon Ure has tied the knot and we wouldn't have missed it for the world. It was such a fun day and Brandon and Sydney looked so HAPPY and in love. Here is a picture of the beautiful couple and another of the buds together again.
This handsome bunch is pretty funny especially when they get together. The volume goes up a few notches because they are all trying to talk over eachother and they revert back to their childhood days- we get to hear endless stories of their elementary, middle school, high school and college days. We love our friends and it was so fun to see you all. The only thing missing was a good game of Nerts - dang it. . .maybe next time.Another highlight of our trip home was meeting BABY McNEIL. Cutest little peanut you have ever seen and when I say little I mean itty bitty. He was born
2 1/2 weeks early and I'm sure its because he wanted to meet us and couldn't wait to see his little girlfriend Quincy!!! Or maybe it was because he wanted to wish his mommy a happy mothers day in person- either way it was so nice to spend some time with them and see baby Talon. Here is a picture of Quincy and Talon- 2 months difference and she looks huge in comparison.
Devin and Kelly are such great friends- 4 days after Kelly delivered they were at Quincys baby blessing. That meant so much you guys. . . THANK YOU.Since we were in town for the Ures wedding we decided it was the perfect time to Bless Quincy so that we could have friends and family there. We had a luncheon at pa and grams after where we celebrated Mothers day as well. It turned out to be a great day. Quincy looked like a little angel in her white dress and she was definitely the star of the day.
Living so far from family and friends can be hard especiallly when special events happen such as welcoming a new baby into the world so we were happy to be able to come home and be with our friends and family on Quincys special day. It was the first time for most of the family to meet her and she was spoiled with attention all day!!
Kalem enjoyed playing with his cousins so much we didnt see him for the entire day and he was absolutely exhausted by the end of it all. Thank you cousins for being so darling with him. He cant wait to see you guys again.
These are the moments that make us want to live closer to family. We are so blessed to have such wonderful parents, siblings, neices, nephews and friends. Our lives are richer because of you and we are already planning our next trip home. LOVE YOU ALL!!!

It was so fun to see you guys this last week! Quincy is beautiful and we are so glad we didn't miss her baby blessing. What a special day. Little Talon loved meeting you guys too and can't wait for our next play date in a couple of weeks!! I gotta feed him so he can catch up to Quincy. I loved watching Dev play with Kalem- what a CUTE kid. I know he can't wait for the days when he can wrestle with little T. Love you guys!!
Way to have your camera ready and capture all the moments, especially for those of us that were so unprepared. I love that one of you and Quincey, you look so beautiful with your new mom glow. We felt bad we missed the lunch afterwards, but Linda was probably glad to not have one more mouth to feed. Don't you love how I offered to bring something and then didn't bring anything and didn't come. Trevor gave a beautiful blessing and we felt so bad we didn't hook up to play. For serious you guys need to come to Mexico so we can play nerts non stop. It's so fun and relaxing and perfect with kids. It does stink to belly up and pay their airfare but so worth it. We really wished you guys lived closer so we could have good times all the time. Thanks for the post and thanks for the pictures so I can do the same. You're the best.

We are sooooo excited- I can't wait to bring Jamie on his first plane trip. I love finding out when people I know have blogs. It is a good way to stay in touch, esp with you guys being away. We are way excited to see you guys. Hopefully it won't be too crazy with the move, but we'll help out in any way that we can. See you soon.
Hi! Okay check your email...I have long-winded stories to tell, but I just had to say thanks for sharing pics of your last post. I miss all those guys and I'm jealous you guys are all still in touch and so close. It was fun to see the pictures. I'm so happy for Ure. I'm sorry we couldn't come up for the baby blessing! But Quincy is looking absolutely darling, what a fun weekend that had to be. I have been meaning to post something for the last few days as I saw it a little while ago, but I'm just getting around to things.
